I have never been so impressed with packing before! This lamp was the most well preserved item I have ever purchased. That aside it really is as you hope it will be. I’d say even better than the stock photos of it. It has a weighted base and I had no problems at all with the threading of the pieces (as others mentioned in their reviews). Altogether quite sturdy. Came together in less than a few minutes and it’s so good! Perfect for the space I had in mind. The gold is a bit warmer for my taste
